Your information, explained clearly

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Dodly Forbi handles information when you use Lycelle.

Effective date: September 2, 2026

1. Introduction

Lycelle is a self-care journal for cycle literacy, daily reflection, and personal pattern awareness. This policy describes the information Lycelle may collect, why it is used, when service providers process it, and the choices available to you. Lycelle does not sell user data, use it for third-party advertising, or use Advertising ID for ad targeting.

Lycelle is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions.

2. Data we collect

Depending on the features you choose, Lycelle may collect:

  • Account information, such as email address, display name or username, and user ID.
  • Cycle and self-care journal data, including daily logs, mood, energy, hydration, rest, stress, body notes, and cycle-related entries.
  • User-generated content, such as notes, reflections, custom entries, and AI Companion messages.
  • Purchase or subscription status and purchase history needed to manage Premium access.
  • App interaction data needed to operate, improve, secure, and troubleshoot Lycelle.

3. How we use data

We use information to provide accounts, save or synchronize selected entries, generate estimates and personal reflection features, manage Premium access, respond to support requests, maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve the reliability and usability of Lycelle.

4. Data sharing and service providers

Lycelle does not sell user data. Data may be processed by service providers only as needed to operate the app. These may include authentication and cloud storage providers; subscription and purchase management providers; AI processing providers; app hosting, security, and infrastructure providers; and notification delivery services. Providers may process information under their own contractual, security, and legal obligations.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or misuse, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. AI Companion processing

When you use Lycelle Companion, your inputs and selected app context may be sent to AI processing providers to generate a response. Responses are informational and reflective only. Avoid entering emergency, highly sensitive, or unnecessary personal information into the AI Companion. Private or local-history settings do not necessarily prevent the information needed for a response from being processed by the AI service.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Apple or Google and subscription-management providers process purchases and provide Lycelle with purchase, product, entitlement, and subscription-status information needed to unlock and manage Premium access. Lycelle does not receive your full payment-card details.

7. Notifications

If you enable reminders, Lycelle may use device notification services to schedule or deliver them. You can change notification permission in device settings and adjust available reminder preferences in the app.

8. Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the app, maintain accounts and security, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting duties, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and service provider. Some records may remain where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, or dispute handling.

9. Account and data deletion

You can delete your account inside Lycelle through Profile → Delete account and confirm the deletion when prompted. You may also request deletion by emailing forbi.dodly.sj@gmail.com. See Account & Data Deletion for instructions, partial deletion options, and subscription information.

10. Children’s privacy

Lycelle is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

12. International processing

Lycelle and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate legal and contractual protections are used for cross-border processing.

13. Your privacy choices

You may choose what journal information to enter, use available local or private modes, adjust notification settings, export or delete available data, delete your account, and contact us about access, correction, or deletion requests. Some features may not work without the information they require.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Lycelle, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.

15. Contact
